A tired fire
Kept burning throughout our home
The warm embrace that lingered
Finally left us cold
And the flame was never seen again
All I’ve done was sit there and pretend
And wonder will it be this way
For years to come
There’s not much holding this together
You’re not the same
You’re not how I remembered you
It took time for me to realize
That I’ve been catching on too late
Back and forth
Arguments through shattered, shaking voices
Kept up by a thread to fragile
To hold it in anymore
Throw away what I know
Or what I thought I knew
The little about you
I wish I knew sooner
Catching on too late
Blinded once again
Catching on too late
Old habits coming back
You act upon
But I won’t have it
Old habits kept me back
From believing
I wish I knew sooner

A friend with a reliably fine musical taste posted this album on FB and I wasn't disappointed. Love the guitar sound and the passionate vocals (melodic enough to not pass as screamo or whatever). Punk rock spirit yet with a lot of dynamics (definitely a yes to the Dischord reference) and compact songs that won't leave your head for a long time. Many many
great tunes on here but for the moment USMA and Lay Low have to be my favorites! Great band, very happy to have found them! perpendikel
